Although the beginning of this multi-instrumental band dates back to 2009, in Bahrain, the Flamingods are actually fruit of the London scene, that embraced them, and not even Brexit can shake their unique joy of being one amongst millions of voices of an ancient diaspora. At a time when multiculturalism is increasingly under attack, Flamingods' music includes inspiration from Africa and Asia, and all the spaces of tension between these two ancestral continents, in an original oeuvre filled with multiple influences. The result is invariably a pop explosion, with intense aromas and flavours and filled with multicultural drives.
